UPDATE: The highway is now open but police say side roads are still icy.
KAWARTHA LAKES-Highway 36 at Snug Harbour Road just outside of Lindsay is closed due to an accident.
A dump truck and at least two other vehicles are involved. The dump truck is on its side in the ditch. Witnesses say at least one person was being treated by paramedics.
The road conditions are very slick. Police are asking residents to avoid the area.
