KAWARTHA LAKES-A Winter weather travel advisory in effect for Wednesday and Wednesday night in our area.
Environment Canada says now with accumulations of 5 to 10 cm and reduced visibility at times in heavy snow is possible Wednesday morning through Thursday morning.
A low pressure system will bring snow to the area beginning Wednesday morning. The snow is expected to taper off overnight or Thursday morning.
Officials say motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Slow down driving in slippery conditions.
