News You Can Use-Bridge In Fenelon Falls Reducing To One Lane For Routine Inspection On December 3

KAWARTHA LAKES-Lindsay Street in Fenelon Falls will be reduced to one lane at the Lindsay Street Bridge for one day to complete a routine, annual inspection of the bridge.

The lane reduction will occur outside of high traffic times from 9:00am to 3pm on Tuesday December 3, 2024.

About the Lindsay Street Bridge in Fenelon Falls

The Lindsay Street Bridge in Fenelon Falls is in a state of good repair according to City officials. In 2021, new structural supports were placed on the bridge after a detailed inspection determined that reconstruction of the bridge would be needed in the future.

Since the repair, the municipality inspects the bridge annually to ensure that it stays in good repair until the reconstruction project can happen. Please note that the reconstruction of the Lindsay Street Bridge in Fenelon Falls is not imminent.
