PETERBOROUGH-Two Peterborough men have been charged in connection with a stabbing last Friday, September 27 at Millennium Park in Peterborough.
At approximately 7:45pm officers were called to the area of Millennium Park. Upon arrival they located a man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre and then transported to a Toronto hospital in stable condition.
Police say the suspects were identified and on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, officers with the Investigative Services Unit arrested the two men at a Peterborough residence.
As a result of the investigation,
A 22-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, October 3, 2024.
A 52-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, October 3, 2024.
