Assault Rifle And 200 Rounds Of Ammunition Reportedly Stolen In Peterborough Break-In

PETERBOROUGH-The Peterborough Police Service is investigating the report of a missing firearm and ammunition after a residential break-in Wednesday evening.

It’s believed the break and enter happened sometime between 10:00am and 8:00pm on September 11, 2024 at a home in Homeward Avenue and Albertus Avenue area.

The firearm is described as:

  • Tavor X95 assault rifle (Stock photo for assistance below)
  • 200 rounds of ammunition

Also taken was approximately $20,000 in jewellery and approximately $1500 in tools.
