Police Looking For Witnesses In Hit And Run In Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH-The Peterborough Police Service is asking anyone with information about a hit and run to come forward.

At approximately 12:15am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, officers were called by EMS about a man who appeared to be the victim of a hit and run incident in the Brock Street and Bethune Street area.

Through investigation, officers learned that the cyclist was struck by the vehicle in a parking lot before the vehicle fled the scene according to police

The victim was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment and has since been taken to a Toronto area hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
