BANCROFT-The Bancroft OPP is investigating another fatal collision on Highway 28.
On August 06, 2024, shortly after 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a collision involving three vehicles and two motorcycles on Highway 28, near Otter Lake Road. Two occupants were pronounced deceased at the scene. Two occupants were airlifted by ORNGE to the hospital with life-threatening conditions. Two occupants were transported by Paramedic Services to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing, involving officers from the Bancroft Detachment, as well as the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Collision Reconstructionist.
