Kawartha Lakes Food Source Facing Emergency Situation As Supplies Dwindling Fast

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Food Source (KLFS) urgently appealed for food and monetary donations on Saturday as supplies hit dangerously low levels.

Officials say they are serving more clients than ever before. “We’re running out of food, fast. This is an urgent plea to our community to help us collect food and monetary donations so we can feed those that are struggling in the Kawarthas.” said the charity on Facebook.

KLFS is a not-for-profit distribution centre which supplies food and personal care items to member organizations that provide support to individuals in need.

How can you help? They have created an Emergency Needs List with the most needed items at KLFS.

Please donate if you can or consider organizing your own food drive!
