KAWARTHA LAKES-A 65-year-old Kinmount resident is facing impaired driving charges.
On July 24th at approximately 2:00 p.m., Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint for a possible impaired driver in Kinmount. Officers located the vehicle travelling westbound on Crego Street.
65-year-old, Eric Kettle was arrested and charged with
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80plus)
The accused received a 90-day licence suspension, and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days and was released from custody with conditions and will appear in court at a future date.
