UPDATE-Fire Marshal Called In-Crews On The Scene Of A House Fire On Bridle Road

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate a house fire Fire on Bridle Road in Lindsay on Wednesday.

Fire officials say the bungalow was fully involved when they arrived. No one was home at the time. Thick black smoke could be seen for miles.

Fire Chief Terry Jones told Kawartha 411 News that the fire is being treated as suspicious and Kawartha Lakes Police Service is on scene. The home is a total loss and damages are estimated to be around $400,000.

Crews from four halls battled the blaze.
