Police Raid In Lindsay Snags Cocaine, Cash And Fentanyl

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch with the assistance of The OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team and Community Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant in the area of Durham Street in Lindsay early this morning.

At approximately 4:40am on June 28th, 2024, the search warrant was executed and as a result of the investigation approximately $3,340 in Canadian Currency, $1,280 worth of Fentanyl and $2,458 of Cocaine was reportedly seized. 

As a result of the warrant and investigation, a 21-year-old male from Toronto was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking -Opioid (other than heroin)
  • Possession of Property obtained by crime under $5,000

A 15-year-old male youth from Toronto was also arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of Property obtained by crime under $5,000

Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay.
