The Trent-Severn Waterway offers the perfect setting for a memorable Canada Day experience, whether you’re seeking adventure, family fun, or a relaxing escape, but please remember these 10 golden rules when you are out on the water or visiting our lockstation green spaces:

- Dispose of garbage properly.
- Never feed wildlife.
- Keep your pet on a leash at all times when visiting our green spaces.
- Give wildlife the space they need.
- Avoid excessive noise.
- Use designated paths when visiting our lockstation green spaces.
- Take nothing but photographs.
- Respect speed zones on the water and watch your wash and wake.
- Respect restricted areas at our lockstations and exercise caution on the water.
To make the most of their Parks Canada experience, visitors are encouraged to plan their trip in advance.
