NORTHUMBERLAND-Northumberland OPP is investigating a fire at a residence in Hamilton Township.
On June 22, 2024, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Hamilton Township Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services and OPP responded to a report of a residential fire on Leach Road in Hamilton Township.
The structure sustained substantial damage and police confirmed that nobody was injured as a result. The Ontario Fire Marshall (OFM) is continuing with its investigation and as a result of their initial findings, the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit are also investigating the incident.
Officers will continue to hold the scene for the ongoing investigation. Updates will be provided when available.
