PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough County OPP and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 28 between County Road 6 and Douro 4th Line at approximately 10:00am today.
Highway 28 was closed between County Road 6 and Douro 4th Line and traffic was diverted around the area while OPP officers and emergency crews dealt with the collision scene.
Police say a group of classic cars were travelling northbound when another motorist exited a private driveway colliding with the northbound vehicle. Both occupants of the classic car as well as the driver of the second vehicle were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Highway 28 has now re-opened.
