KAWARTHA LAKES-A 55-year-old Lindsay man is facing charges after police received a call about someone passing out behind the steering wheel of a vehicle.
The call came in on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at approximately 09:30am. Police say further investigation resulted in the driver being arrested and charged with Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs.
In addition to the charge, the driver received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on July 25th, 2024.
