Lindsay Man Facing Impaired Driving Charges After Traffic Stop

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 30-year-old Lindsay man is facing impaired driving charges after being stopped for Highway Traffic Act Offences.

Police say on May 19, 2024, at approximately 11:24 p.m., officers stopped a motor vehicle for Highway Traffic Act offences on County Road 24 in Verulam Township. Through investigation, the driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving offences.

Nathan Gaudette of Lindsay was charged with operation While Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration over 80.

In addition to the charges the driver received a 90-day licence suspension, and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
