OPP Cruiser Involved In Minor Collision On County Road 21 In Minden Hills

KAWARTHA LAKES-On Saturday, May 18, 2024, shortly after 9:30 am, a member of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was responding to a call for service and became involved in a motor vehicle collision on County 21 in the Township of Minden Hills.

The collision involved an OPP cruiser and a passenger vehicle. County Road 21 between Caribou Road and Robertson Road was closed both ways until approximately 3:00 pm. Both drivers and one passenger were transported to a hospital with minor injuries, and all were cleared on May 18, 2024.

The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team (TIME) is investigating this collision. No charges have been laid at this time.
