PETERBOROUGH-A 32-year-old Peterborough man is facing six charges after an investigation. According to police, he was on probation for similar offences.
On Thursday, May 16, 2024, officers from the Peterborough Police Services Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a search warrant at a Peterborough residence.
As a result of the two-month investigation, a 32-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with four counts of Luring a Person Under 16 Years of Age by Means of Telecommunication and two counts of Fail to Comply with Prohibition Regarding Children. No name was released.
The accused was held in custody and appeared in court today, May 17, 2024.
The Peterborough Police Service is a member of the Provincial Strategy to protect children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet.
