A 19-Year-Old Lindsay Man Killed In Crash On Cheese Factory Road

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 19-year-old Lindsay man was killed in a crash on Thursday.

Kawartha Lakes Police along with emergency services were called to a single motor–vehicle collision that occurred on Cheese Factory Road between Post Road and Settlers Road just outside Lindsay, at approximately 5:40pm on May 16th 2024.

The driver of the motor vehicle, a 19-year-old male from Lindsay was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. No name was released.

Cheese Factory Road was closed between Post Road and Settlers Road, while officers from Kawartha Lakes Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police collision reconstruction unit, measured and documented the scene.  The cause of the collision remains under investigation.  

Anyone who may have witnessed or has video / dash camera footage of the collision and has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact the Kawartha Lakes Police Service at 705-324-5252.
