Drug Charges Laid After Police Raid Home In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Two Lindsay residents are facing charges after police raided a home early this morning.

Kawartha Lakes Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch with the assistance of The OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team and Community Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant in the area of Pottinger Street in Lindsay early this morning.

At approximately 3:30am on May 16th  2024, the search warrant was executed and as a result of the investigation approximately $5,200 street value worth of illegal drugs were seized. 

As a result of the warrant and investigation, a 41-year-old male and a 35-year-old male from Lindsay were arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine and Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking.

Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay.
