Lakefield College School Gears Up To Host OFSAA Ultimate Festival

PETERBOROUGH-Lakefield College School has announced it will be the host venue for the highly anticipated 2024 OFSAA Ultimate Festival. Set to take place on May 30-31, 2024, the event promises to bring together the finest Ultimate Frisbee talents from various corners of Ontario.

“We are delighted to welcome competitors, coaches, and spectators to our campus for the 2024 OFSAA Ultimate Festival,” expressed Todd Melville, one of the Convenors for the event. “This event represents an exciting opportunity for Ontario’s youth to demonstrate their athleticism and passion for Ultimate frisbee in a supportive and competitive environment.”

With state-of-the-art facilities and picturesque surroundings, the LCS campus provides an ideal backdrop for this exhilarating competition.

“As a co-convenor of the 2024 OFSAA Ultimate Festival, I am excited to witness the passion and talent that Ontario’s youth will bring to the competition. This event embodies the spirit of teamwork and perseverance, values that we cherish here at Lakefield,” remarked Chris Burns, Co-Convenor of the 2024 OFSAA Ultimate Festival. “We look forward to welcoming participants and spectators alike to experience the camaraderie and excitement of OFSAA Ultimate.”

As preparations for the festival are underway, Lakefield College School extends its gratitude to the Bletsoe family Foodland for their steadfast support.

Residents of Lakefield and surrounding areas are encouraged to join the excitement by attending the event as spectators or volunteers. Cheer on the LCS team, local athletes, and all other participants.
