Colleagues Line The Halls As Nurse Marks Her Final Day At Ross Memorial Hospital

KAWARTHA LAKES-Elaine Walling spent the past 37 years caring for patients at Ross Memorial Hospital. As she left the building on her last day of work on March 22, staff lined the halls for a clap-out.

Officials say Elaine started at RMH in 1987 as a casual nurse before joining the Emergency Department. She also worked in the ICU, Surgical Department, and most recently served as our Manager of Ambulatory Services.
“Please join in thanking Elaine for using her many talents to care for patients and for bringing an infectious dedication to serving our community. We wish her the very best as she embarks on retirement,” said RMH in a Facebook post on Friday.
Congratulations Elaine and thanks for your years of service.
