27-Year-Old Lindsay Man Killed In Crash Near Oakwood

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 27-year-old Lindsay man lost his life in a crash near Oakwood last night.

At approximately 6:08 p.m. on March 19, officers responded with Kawartha Lakes Fire and EMS to a head-on collision involving four motor vehicles on Highway 7, east of Taylors Road near Oakwood.

The driver, a 27-year-old male from Lindsay, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 65-year-old from North Bay was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Highway 7 was closed from Opmar Road to Taylors Road while members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Team (T.I.M.E.) conducted their investigation. It has since reopened.
