Trent Hills Resident Charged With Obstructing Police Following Crash In Peterborough County

KAWARTHAS-One person has been charged after police say officers located an abandoned passenger vehicle in a ditch on County Road 38 in Peterborough County.

On March 11, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Peterborough County OPP contacted Northumberland OPP to check on the well-being of the vehicle owner at a residence on County Road 8 in the Municipality of Trent Hills.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

30-year-old Dylan Anderson from the Municipality of Trent Hills, was charged with Obstruct peace officer, Fail to remain and Fail to report an accident.

The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
