UPDATE-No Threat To Public Safety-Elementary School In Lindsay Evacuated After Suspicious Device Located In The Area

UPDATE: Police say officers have determined there is no threat to public safety and the school has reopened.

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service is on the scene at St. John Paul Elementary School in Lindsay.

Police say a suspicious device was located in the area of the school and the school has been evacuated as a safety precaution while police investigate.
