Traffic Stop On Highway 35 Results In Impaired Driving Charges

KAWARTHA LAKES-A novice driver is in hot water after a traffic stop on Highway 35.

City of Kawartha Lakes OPP officers conducted a traffic stop just south of Lindsay on Highway 35 at Tower Road on February 8th.

27-year-old William Mazarese 27 years old of Oshawa was charged with Operation While Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration over 80, Novice Driver Blood Alcohol Concentration above Zero and Speeding.

The accused are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The motor vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days.
