Free Sponsored Public Skating In February!

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Parks and Recreation Division in partnership with a variety of local sponsors is pleased to offer a variety of free sponsored Public Skate opportunities during the month of February.

The sponsored Public Skates listed below will be free of charge for all participants:

  • Friday February 2 – Fenelon Falls Community Centre, 10am to 11am courtesy of Tow-All-Inc.
  • Friday February 2 – Manvers Community Centre, 2:30pm to 3:30pm and 3:30pm to 4:30pm courtesy of Storm Productions Inc. in support of The Kibble Project.
  • Saturday February 10 – Fenelon Falls Community Centre, 5pm to 6pm courtesy of Heather Ahrens – RE/MAX All-Stars Realty Inc., Brokerage
  • Saturday February 17 – Fenelon Falls Community Centre, 5pm to 6pm courtesy of Maryboro Lodge Museum
  • Monday February 19 – Family Day Public Skates will be hosted at all Arena’s throughout the municipality courtesy of Wards Lawyers PC.
  • Saturday February 24 – Free Public Skating will be hosted in Little Britain, Woodville, Lindsay, Bobcaygeon, Fenelon Falls and Omemee courtesy of the Kinsmen Club of Lindsay. Visit the Skating page for a list of times.
  • Sunday February 25 – Free Public Skating will take place in Manvers and Oakwood courtesy of the Kinsmen Club of Lindsay. Visit the Skating page for a list of times.

Limited space is available in each skate; participants are encouraged to register for their desired skate up to 14 days in advance through the Kawartha Lakes Online Program Registration website.

Pre-registration is recommended for all Public Skating programs, please contact the Parks and Recreation Division by e-mailing: [email protected] or by calling 705-324-9411 extension 1307, if you require other options.
