OPP Responded To Multiple Collisions During Tuesday’s Storm

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP says officers responded to multiple collisions during the snow storm on Tuesday.

Environment Canada predicted heavy snow filled by rain making driving conditions treacherous. A collision involving a commercial motor vehicle rollover on Monck Road was just one of those crashes. No injuries were reported. One reader told Kawartha 411 news that drivers were passing other vehicles on Highway 7 despite the poor conditions.

Police are reminding residents to please practice winter driving techniques such as leaving extra time, slowing down and staying home if they can during extreme weather events.
