UPDATE: Found Deceased-Peterborough Police Looking For Missing 50-Year-Old Man

Police say the 50-year-old Peterborough man reported missing on December 23, 2023, has been confirmed deceased by the Coroner’s Office.

Furthermore, a 41-year-old Peterborough man has been charged with:

  • Indignity to Dead Body

The family of the deceased is asking for privacy at this difficult time.

PETERBOROUGH-The Peterborough Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing person 50-year-old man. His family and police are concerned for his well-being.

He was last seen on December 19th, 2023, at his residence in the south end of Peterborough and was last spoken to on December 20th, 2023. Wilkins is not believed to be operating a vehicle at this time. Wilkins is described as:

  • White male
  • 6’
  • 240 lbs.
  • Shaved/bald head
  • Moustache with goatee (brown/grey in colour)
  • Hazel eyes
  • Birthmark on right side of stomach
  • Last seen wearing blue track pants, black hoodie, and black running shoes
