KAWARTHA LAKES- A Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable stopped a vehicle travelling on Colborne Street West to investigate the driver for a traffic violation on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 9:30pm. Police say while speaking with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment. After conducting an investigation, the driver was arrested.
As a result of the investigation, a 20-year-old Verulam Township woman has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on November 23, 2023.
