Sections Of The Victoria Rail Trail To Be Closed For A Week

KAWARTHA LAKES-Sections of the Victoria Rail Trail in Fenelon Falls between Victory Grove Road and Thorn Street will be closed for Ash and hazard tree removal on weekdays along the trail beginning Wednesday, September 20 through Wednesday, September 27 during the hours of 7am and 3pm.

The work to be completed will involve the removal of hazardous trees which are predominately Ash. Sections of trail will be barricaded off for safety reasons, the public is asked to avoid this area during the specified removal time. The trail will re-open to the public during the hours in which work is not being completed.
