OPP Looking For Assistance In Theft Of Trailer

KAWARTHA LAKES-Peterborough County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in providing information related to the theft of a trailer from the Burleigh Falls area.

On September 6, 2023, OPP officers received a call from owners of the Lovesick Lake RV Sales advising that a new 2023 Wildwood trailer valued at approximately $100,000 had been taken from their lot sometime between August 31, 2023, and September 5, 2023.

Police say the trailer was parked within a secure lot among other trailers. The trailer was noticed missing on September 5, 2023, when an inventory of the trailers was conducted.

Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identification of the suspect(s) involved in this theft. Police urge the public to call in tips on this case, or others, to the Peterborough OPP at 705-742-0401, the non-emergency line (888) 310-1122 or to Crime Stoppers.
