PETERBOROUGH-A 78-year-old man from the County of Peterborough is facing several charges following an investigation.
On August 30, 2023, officers from the Peterborough Police Investigative Services Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the County of Peterborough.
As a result of a one-month online investigation, a 78-year-old man was arrested and charged with:
- Luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunications X2Â
The accused was held for a bail hearing and appeared in court on August 30, 2023.
The Peterborough Police Service is a member of the Provincial Strategy to protect children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the internet.Â
