KAWARTHA LAKES-Bancroft OPP has charged a driver with impaired following a report of a vehicle collision.
On August 31, 2023, shortly before 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle collision on Bronson Road in The Town of Bancroft. Poilice say a passenger, a 45-year-old of the Town of Bancroft sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation resulted in the driver being arrested.
45-year-old Timothy Gunter from Maple Leaf has been charged with Dangerous Operation causing bodily harm, Refusal to comply with a demand and Operation while impaired – alcohol.
The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario on September 6, 2023, in relation to the criminal charge.
