OPP Investigating ATV Crash Near Kirkfield

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is investigating a motor vehicle collision on Jack Pine Trail.

On September 3, 2023 at approximately 10:00 pm, officers along with Kawartha Lakes Fire and EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision involving an ATV just north of Monck Road off Laxton-Township 6th Line on Jack Pine Trail.

Jack Pine Trail was closed for the investigation, one injured ATV rider was taken to local hospital with injuries. The investigation is ongoing and the public is asked to avoid the area.

There’s no word on injuries or charges.
