KAWARTHA LAKES-A 19-year-old Oakwood man is facing impaired driving charges.
On Wednesday, August 16 at approximately 8:15 pm the Kawartha Lakes Police received a report about a vehicle that was being operated by a possible impaired driver in the area of King Street and James Street in Lindsay. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the parking lot on Kent Street West.
As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old Oakwood man has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), and one charge each in contravention of the Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence and Control Act.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on September 14, 2023.
