PETERBOROUGH-Two 15-year-old Peterborough boys are facing charges after an incident Sunday evening.
Police say at approximately 9:00 pm on August 13, 2023, officers received calls about several males who had a knife and a conducted energy weapon (CEW) in the Bethune Street and Stewart Street area and were attempting to use the CEW on another male. Shortly after a second call came in about males with a CEW in the Brock Street and Downie Street area. Through investigation, suspects were identified with one arrested at his residence and the second turned himself in to police early Monday morning.
As a result:
A 15-year-old male was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court August 28, 2023.
