Peterborough Police Investigating Possible Homicide Overnight

PETERBOROUGH-The Peterborough Police Service is involved in what is believed to be a homicide investigation.

Police say officers received a call for service around midnight Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from the George Street and Charlotte Street area.  As part of the investigation, there will police presence in Fleming Park near Brock Street and Aylmer Streets this morning.

Police say more details will be released when available.

“We thank the public for their patience as the investigation continues.  Roads in the area are not affected at this time.” said police in a press release.
