KAWARTHA LAKES-A driver is facing charges after a vehicle stop in Lindsay.
Police say on August 8 just after 11pm an officer from the Kawartha Lakes Police Service observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner as it exited a parking lot on to Durham St W. The vehicle continued on Durham St W where it was stopped. The driver of the vehicle was investigated and subsequently arrested for Operation While Impaired by Drug. They were transported to the police station for an evaluation by a Drug Recognition Expert.
The driver was charged with Failure to Comply with a demand and Driving a motor vehicle with an unsealed container of liquor. They are scheduled to appear in court on September 14th, 2023. No Name was released
