Home Video Surveillance Helps Identify Suspect After Theft From Carport In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 33-year-old Lindsay woman is facing charges after police received a report of a theft on Saturday, July 22.

At approximately 5:30am police received a call regarding individuals who were observed entering a carport on Adelaide Street North, allegedly taking numerous items before leaving the area.

With the assistance of video surveillance officers identified, located and arrested the suspect a short distance away from the location.

A 33-year-old Lindsay woman has been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on August 31, 2023.
