Moose Tours Lindsay Before Police And Ministry Officials Return It To The Wild

KAWARTHA LAKES-A moose spent the day on the loose, touring Lindsay.

Officials at Ross Memorial Hospital caught the moose running across the lawn this morning. Later it was seen travelling across backyards and front yards around Lindsay.

The Kawartha Lakes Police Service asked residents to stay away from the animal while officers attempted to lead the animal from town. Eventually, officials with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry were brought in to help. Experts took care of the animal while it was being relocated to its natural habitat.

No injuries were reported.
