Kicking things off TONIGHT is Canadian comic and CBC radio host, Ali Hassan. But before a career in comedy, he wanted to be a chef – so the acclaimed comedian will take the audience on a laugh-filled journey exploring his 12 years in and out of the culinary world during Does This Taste Funny?
Friday night features Alex Cuba, a Grammy and Juno award winning Cuban-Canadian singer who performs upbeat, acoustic soul music, full of optimism and reality. His musical evolution for years was all about searching for the simplicity and soul in Cuban music.
On Saturday, you can rock out with Carl Dixon! Carl Dixon’s solo show is a rock ride with music and stories from his time with his band, Coney Hatch, to his days opening for Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and the years he spent as the lead singer of The Guess Who (from 1997-2008).
Then wrap up the weekend with Green River Revival, who perform the greatest hits of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Officially licensed by John Fogerty’s Record Company, this amazing CCR Tribute Concert will have you singing at the top of your lungs and dancing in the aisles!
