KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes OPP officers entered into an impaired driving investigation following a traffic stop which resulted in one female arrested for impaired operation.
On June 18, 2023 officers on patrol in Bobcaygeon conducted a traffic stop, arrested and charged a 21-year-old.
Josie Nugent of Lindsay was charged with operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration over 80, driving Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
“If you plan on consuming drugs or alcohol please arrange a safe ride home. If you suspect someone to be operating a motor vehicle while impaired please call 9-1-1”
