KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP are investigating a fatal collision in Oakwood.
On June 17, 2023 at approximately 11:34 am, officers responded, alongside with Kawartha Lakes Fire and EMS, to a single-vehicle collision involving a child in Oakwood.
One injured child was transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased a short time later.
The highway is currently closed at the intersection of Bruce Street and Eldon Road as the investigation is ongoing and the public is asked to avoid the area.
No information on charges was released.
