Support Worker At Catholic School In Lindsay Charged With Assaulting Student

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 28-year-old support worker at St Dominic Catholic Elementary School in Lindsay has been charged with assaulting a student.

On May 31, 2023, Kawartha Lake Police (KLPS)responded to an incident involving a support worker and a student at the school. As a result of an investigation the worker was charged with assault. Police say the child suffered minor injuries during the incident.

KLPS no longer releases the names of most people charged with crimes.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on July 13, 2023.
