Police Release Photo Of Suspect In Purse Snatching On Kent Street W In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police are seeking assistance to identify the suspect involved in theft of purse from female walking on Kent Street West in Lindsay.

On Saturday May 13, 2023 the complainant was walking on Kent Street West in Lindsay when a male allegedly grabbed her purse and fled. A witness followed the male and was able to recover the stolen purse.

The suspect was last seen running north on York Street and was captured on video surveillance running northbound on York Street. The suspect is described as, male, 25- 30 years old, 5’8” tall, 160lbs – 170lbs, dark coloured beard, wearing a blue top and a red and blue baseball cap.
