KAWARTHA LAKES-A vehicle stolen in Lindsay was found engulfed in flames on Heights Road on Sunday.
Police say the Kawartha Lakes Police received a report of a stolen vehicle on Sunday May 14, 2023 at 11:50pm. A black, 2017 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from a driveway on Victoria Avenue North in Lindsay sometime between 8:00pm and 11:50pm. Information was shared with surrounding police services. At approximately 2:00am, the vehicle was located engulfed in flames on Heights Road by the Ontario Provincial Police. Kawartha Lakes Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire.
