Police Investigating Purse Snatching In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating after receiving a report of a stolen purse.

On Saturday, May 13 a woman was walking on Kent Street West in Lindsay when a male grabbed her purse and fled. A witness followed the male and was able to recover the stolen purse.

The suspect was last seen running north on York Street. The suspect is described as, male, 25- 30 years old, 5’8” tall, 160lbs – 170lbs, dark-coloured beard, wearing a blue top and a red and blue baseball cap.
