Heavy Police Presence In Fenelon Falls Ends With Two People Taken Into Custody (VIDEO)

UPDATE: Police have released the name of the person charged.

KAWARTHA LAKES-Schools were placed on lockdown, West Street, Murray Street and Wychwood Crescent were closed and a number of police resources were used after an incident in Fenelon Falls today.

Tyler Meredith, 25 years-of-age of Fenelon Falls was arrested and charged with:

Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Pointing a Firearm
Fail to comply with Probation Order
