Spring Cottage Life Show Returns To The International Centre This Weekend

KAWARTHA LAKES-It’s the kick-off to spring! The Spring Cottage Life Show is running now until Sunday, March 26 at the International Centre in Mississauga.

The event offers prospective, new and longtime cottagers, alongside those who simply love the cottage lifestyle, the latest news and information on docks, innovative construction products, and eco-friendly solutions. Attendees can shop exclusive offers from more than 500  exhibitors and meet with builders, contractors, and exhibitors to plan their next cottage project. The Spring Cottage Life Show also offers stylish decor, arts and crafts, food and entertaining ideas for your next summer celebration with friends and family at the lake.

Here are the highlights of the show:

  • Main Stage, sponsored by Beaver Homes and Cottages: Featuring a lineup of TV celebrities, chefs and cottage experts, including Frankie Flowers, Michael Holmes Jr., Cottage Life magazine editor Michelle Kelly and leading cottage succession planning lawyer, Peter Lillico. See full schedule HERE.

  • Cottage Kitchen, sponsored by Foodland: Popular chefs and wellness experts share tasty outdoor entertaining ideas with cooking demonstrations:

    • TV personality, chef and author Jo Lusted

    • Executive Chef, Aurora Importing, Christian Pritchard

    • Director of Culinary Experience, Glen Drummond Farm, Thomas Armstrong

    • Celebrity Chef, Host of VegHeadz and Global Veggies, Pino DiCerbo

  • Family Activities include an inflatable planetarium that offers kids the opportunity to get up close and personal with the constellations and learn about stars, planets, moons, comets, galaxies, and more; a rock climbing wall; life-sized Jenga, and more.

  • Show-Stopping Attractions: Explore the life-size Mini Nordic Spa retreat at the show and learn why they’re the latest trend for cottage country.

  • Cottage Life Workshop, sponsored by Home Hardware: Master cottage builders Wayne Lennox and Brian Halbot will answer build and maintenance questions as they create a selection of outdoor pieces, including how to build an outdoor shower. Visitors will have a chance to win the outdoor shower while at the show.

  • The Dock Party: Mix and mingle in the show’s social hub, proudly serving Muskoka Brewery craft beer, Dark Horse Estate wine, VODKOW, and other tasty beverages. Proceeds from drink ticket sales will go to the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary.

  • Cottage Life Booth: The heart of the show where you can meet the magazine’s editorial team and get your cottage questions answered by the experts.
